Lee weng Fatt, born in 1967 in Kuala Lumpur.

He been using different medium to express the antique, heritage of the buildings that may rare to be seen else where due to buildings has been beautified since years back.

Water color, pastel , ink, oil , acrylic are the main medium he used to complete the artworks. He will mixed some of them to the paintings in order to get them looking more " Real " and more 3D.

Soon Lai Wai

Soon Lai Wai is an exquisitively elegant artist and if you have the good fortune to meet him in person, the same two adjectives are most apt to describe him too. Wai Soon was born and grew up in a historic section of Penang Town. He studied Chinese painting for 7 years before turning to oils and acrylics and their mixture as his medium of expression. He has exhibited in various parts of Asia such as Korea, Japan, Thailand and Indonesia. He has become internationally acclaimed for attractively combining the bold, colourful strokes of Western oil paints onto a background of Chinese style smeared water colours.

After viewing some local and overseas natural scenes and beaches and mountains, he was deeply energized by semi-abstract expressionism. The rockscapes series here on these pages, absorb the influences of Chinese art painting, especially the technical mountain stroke, expressed on the canvas with oil paints. The powerful stroke play with the empty spaces abstractly symbolizes the scenery and landscapes. Deeply inspired by Chinese art sensibilities, philosophy and layouts, he presents the waterfalls and rocky scenery on the beaches in Vietnam, in all their natural splendour.

His luxuriant, sensual and evocative oil paintings are mesmerizing. Their heavily worked textures radiate vibrant reds, blues and oranges exuding a contemporary Asian aesthetic.

Ronnie Mohamad’s mastery of mediums is remarkable, almost unbelievable for a self-taught artist. From pastel to oil, acrylic and charcoal, Ronnie invokes the essence of the mediums by applying them meticulously and skillfully in creating his favourite subjects – portrait and human figure. " Neko Cat " are great feng shui activators as mentioned by Kathryn Weber. As a feng shui symbol, the Neko kitty is a little less traditional but offers thoroughly wonderful feng shui because of its delightful charming qualities. Zulkifli Yusoff - born in Yan, 1962. He graduated from UITM in 1989 & Master Degree in Manchester Polytechnic in 1991. Zul's father was the key influence to him by given him a copy of " Art Today " that sparked his interest in art. Zul lectured in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for 4 years before leaving to concentrate on his full time as an artist.

Marine Series by Ajis Mohammad

When we talked about marine series, the 1st artist name will come to mind will be him, Ajis Mohammad, whom had a had a record in Malaysia Books of Record in April 2004 as he had completed the longest painting painted in the sea in Pulau Lang Tengah, Terengganu. He become popular, when he had completed the 1st painting of the real underwater scene , Pulau Tenggol, Terengganu in 2000. He use different medium to express the beauty of the under water scene, the colorful corals & fishes as well as his famous " turtle " were perfectly converted into an art piece with his excellent skill. "Jai" is the name we always refer to Jalaini Abu Hassan, who born in Selangor in year 1963. He was moving around army base in the country as his father was an army in British Army . In 1985, He graduated from ITM ( now is UITM ) , and with scholarship , he further his study to famous Slade School of Fine Art in London & later in Pratt Institute in New York.

Jai's works is very exciting. His powerful " skill " and progressive " approach " to the painting by using wide range of materials had pushing the boundaries of painting into the new & exciting ways & this had earned him a considerable reputation among the collectors abroad. Jai has exhibited in many countries, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, the USA, the UK and also in Spain and Iraq.

Johan Marjonid

Johan Marjonid - born in 1968 in Johor. He graduated from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Shah Alam in 1992.

He has received numerous awards for competitions such as First Prize for the Malaysian Landscape ’94 at the National Art Gallery Kuala Lumpur (1994).

He has held two solo exhibitions in Kuala Lumpur titled Melebu Alas (2005) and Tranquil (2011), and has participated in numerous group shows namely the Rainforest Painting Demonstration at the World Expo in Hanover, Germany (2000), 100 Excellent Artists at the Penang International Art Festival (2009) and most recently at the Convergence exhibition at Galeri Petronas, Kuala Lumpur (2013).

Ismail Latiff - born in Melaka, 1955. Graduated - Diploma in Art & Design, Institut Teknologi MARA, Selangor 1979. He been honourable with Frank Sullivan Prize, Salon Malaysia, National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, in 1979 & 1st Prize , Biennale of Visual Arts, Seychelles in 1992.

Khoo Sui Hoe - Crescent Moon

Khoo Sui Hoe born in Baling , Kedah 1939. He graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts , Singapore in 1961 and then he further his studies in Pratt Institute, New York in 1977.

He won First Prize ( oil category ) in Malaysian art Competition 1965 & An Honourable Mention in the Salon Malaysia 1969.His other awards included twice winning the Asian Arts Now Awards given by the Las Vegas Museum in the United States in 2002 and 2004.

Peter Liew

Born 1955 in Tapah, Perak. Peter Liew loves to paint since young age, and virtually , he grew up in nature & heritage that eventually became the main influence in all his works. He graduated in Fine Art from Malaysia Institute of Art (MIA) in 1979 & was returned to MIA to work as lecturer frm 1984 till 1994.

Peter Liew, travel extensively to other country to paint their scenery as well exhibits his paintings in the galleries abroad. Some of his most prominent works are paintings in various countries across Europe, America, China, Taiwan, and New Zealand.

His solo exhibitions were exhibited at Artist House Gallery, Kuala Lumpur (1981), Balai Seni Maybank (1997), Museum of the City of Skopje, Skopje (Republic of Macedonia) (2002) and Penang State Art Gallery (2009). He was awarded the Best Award in Fine Art, Malaysian Institute of Art, Kuala Lumpur in 1978.

Nik Rafin, born in 1974 in Petaling Jaya whom had a love in art since he was a young boy.

Nik Rafin studied Advanced Photography in USA, before pursuing Minor in Fine Arts from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, He would then graduated in Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Mass Communication from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin ( USA ).

He did manage to illustrate a Winnie the Pooh promotional board, which is something that he proud with.

Young artist - Husin Othman

Graduated in 2013 with a honours degree in Fine Art from UiTM Malaysia, Husin Othman is a young emerging Malaysian artist that is slowly gaining recognition within the local arts scene.

His artistic talent is clear, skilful techniques and thorough understanding of figuration marks his works noteworthy amongst his peers. From the villages in outskirts of Perak, Malaysia, young Husin Othman was often running freely at play with his 7 siblings. Rekindling his sweet childhood memories, he showcases works of the Malaysian lifestyle that are now sometimes forgotten, drawing emotions and understanding from his Malaysian identity and Malay culture.

Husin Othman is the winner of UOB Painting of the Year 2014 award as the Most Promising Artist of the Year (under the Emerging Artist category) in Malaysia.
