Yeong Seak Ling, born in Perak in 1948. Recognised as senior artist who is adept in water colour technique. He is a self taught artist who has cast a wide network in Malaysian Art Scene through art associations that he established such as Utara Art Group in 1977, The Art Group Penang in 2003, Art Group International 2008. And he is one of the founding member of the Penang Water Colour Society in 1982. He founded Art Point Gallery in Penang in 1996. He first made his mark when he won third prize in Salon Malaysia 1966 and was a winner of Malaysian Landscape Water Colour Exhibition in 1982 and 1983.
