Working on Rice Field, 36X48 inch, Oil on CanvasStatement from artist:I enjoy painting malaysian scenes, especially the Malaysian woman working in wet market places and the open rice fields and farms. I use brilliant colors to reflect the " colorful Malaysia". I like to show the role of woman in society, her conscientiousness, kindliness and determination.I paint mainly in oil, my aesthetic effects are created by my lines, shapes, color, light ad dark, mass, volume, texture and perspective. I like my message to be simple & warm".
